Junior at NCC is a wondrous place for students to establish learning routines, friendships and find their talents and passions. We welcome you to our Junior School.

If you have more than one child starting at NCC, we recommend you check the relevant information located in the other sub-school sections.

  • Junior School Orientation Day

    New students to the Junior School in 2025 are invited to join the current students in an Orientation morning.

    Teachers will orientate students with new routines and expectations while building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging and excitement amongst the new class. The details are below.

    WEDNESDAY 27 November 2024
    9.00am – 10.40am
    • Meet at the Junior School office
    • New students will be directed to their new class
    • Students are to wear their current school uniform

    Parents are encouraged to drop off and return to pick up students at 10.40am. Should parents wish to stay at the College, we invite parents to visit the Red Café at New Life Church on NCC grounds for a complimentary beverage.

    If you miss this Orientation Day, we look forward to welcoming you to NCC on the first day of the school year or whenever you arrive.

  • Family Admin Day – Thursday 23 January 2025

    This is an important day to assist families preparing for the new school year, however not all new families will need to attend. If you are a Junior School parent and your child has attended the orientation morning, you do not need to attend. If you didn’t attend the orientation morning, we invite you to attend and meet your teacher and visit your classroom between 1.00 – 3.00pm.

    For all other parents and students, you can attend at any time that suits between 7.00am and 3.00pm. Below are the items that you can do.

    1. Pick up pre-ordered uniform items – if you require a fitting, we suggest you book one here.
    2. View class lists

    We will have staff available in sport and music, as well as our Bus Operations Manager, should any of these areas be of interest to you.

  • Student Onboarding Morning – for students commencing Term 2, 3 or 4

    This day will always be on the Thursday morning of the school holidays before the school term commences. Open from 8.00am – 12.00pm, we will onboard new students with:

    • Uniforms
    • Meet with the registrar department to answer any questions that they may have, and go through things again, such as the NCC app (all year levels)

     

    Therefore on your first day, Junior School students will go directly to the Junior School Reception, where you will be directed to your classroom and teacher.
