Junior at NCC is a wondrous place for students to establish learning routines, friendships and find their talents and passions. We welcome you to our Junior School.

If you have more than one child starting at NCC, we recommend you check the relevant information located in the other sub-school sections.

  • Junior School Orientation Day

    New students to the Junior School in 2026 are invited to join the current students in an orientation morning.

    Teachers will orientate students with new routines and expectations while building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging and excitement amongst the new class. The details are below.

    WEDNESDAY 3 December 2025
    9.00am – 10.40am
    • Meet at the Junior School office
    • New students will be directed to their new class
    • Students are to wear their current school uniform

    Parents are encouraged to drop off and return to pick up students at 10.40am. Should parents wish to stay at the College, we invite parents to visit the cafe at New Life Church on NCC grounds for a complimentary beverage.

    If you miss this orientation day, we look forward to welcoming you to NCC on the first day of the school year or whenever you arrive.

  • Onboarding Collection Day – for students Years 7-12 commencing Term 1. Thursday 22 January 2026 7am -2pm

    Our Onboarding Collection Day is for new students entering Years 7–12. On this day, students can collect their laptop and organise their locker in preparation for the school year. Please note that sport, music, and textbook sign-ups are completed online via email from the school that will in the term prior to commencement. Some forms are already available on the Onboarding website. If you have children starting in the Junior School, they do not need to attend this session.

    Student Onboarding Morning – for students commencing Term 2, 3 or 4

    This day will always be on the Thursday morning of the school holidays before the school term commences. Open from 8.00am – 12.00pm, we will onboard new students with:

    • Uniforms
    • Meet with the registrar department to answer any questions that they may have, and go through things again, such as the NCC app (all year levels)

    Therefore on your first day, Junior School students will go directly to the Junior School Reception, where you will be directed to your classroom and teacher.
